About this website

Information for Whaley Bridge and surrounding communities

HighPeakPipeline.info is designed to be an information resource for the people of Whaley Bridge and surrounding communities.

The website brings together information about the proposed Peak Cluster carbon dioxide project and pipeline, with a focus on what it could mean for Whaley Bridge and nearby places.

It is intended to help local people find relevant information, understand the proposal and its possible effects, and follow the planning process. The site is an independent information resource, not a campaigning website and not an official project site.

Wherever possible, the site links directly to the original sources so that visitors can read the underlying material for themselves and reach their own conclusions.

We are not affiliated with, or financed by, any campaign group, company, business, local council of any other third party.

Our approach

A practical local information resource

The aim is to make useful project information easier to access in one place, including material about the proposed route, construction and safety, environmental effects, and ways to have your say.
