Free leaflets, posters and other materials — plus help with running events about the Peak Cluster project — for residents and businesses in Whaley Bridge and the surrounding area.

Raising awareness together

Many people in Whaley Bridge and the surrounding communities are still unaware of the proposed Peak Cluster carbon capture project and how close the pipeline could run to their homes and businesses. The more local people who know about the project, the better placed the community is to ask questions, take part in the planning process and have its voice heard.

To help spread the word, free printed materials and practical support are available to local residents and businesses. Whether you simply want a few leaflets to pass on to neighbours, or you are thinking of organising a larger community event, help is on hand.

Free leaflets and printed material

Informative leaflets explaining the Peak Cluster project, the proposed pipeline route and its possible impact on Whaley Bridge are available free of charge to local residents and businesses. These can be handed out to neighbours, displayed in shops, cafés, community spaces or included with local deliveries.

Posters and display materials

Eye-catching posters and display materials can be provided to help raise awareness in the local area. Whether you have a noticeboard in a village hall, a shop window or a community centre, materials can be supplied in the sizes you need.

Help with running events

If you would like to organise an event — large or small — about the Peak Cluster project, help is available. This could be a stall at a local fete, a public meeting in a village hall, a coffee morning, a guided walk along the proposed route, or a larger community information evening.

Support for residents and businesses

Practical support is on offer to help local people and businesses understand the project and share information. This includes advice on how to talk to neighbours, how to raise concerns through the planning process, and how to connect with others who want to be informed.

Events

Help with running an event

Events are one of the most effective ways of informing the local community. They do not need to be large or complicated — even a small gathering can make a real difference. Support is available to help you plan and run an event that suits your time, your venue and your audience.

Help that can be provided includes supplying leaflets and posters for the event, helping to plan the format and timing, providing display materials and information boards, and offering advice on how to answer common questions about the project.
